Christopher Chockley

Christopher Allen Chockley, 27, of rural Browning was pronounced dead at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 20, 1977, in Rushville, a son of Richard and Patty Fabish Chockley.

Surviving are his mother of Astoria; his father of Browning; one brother, Corey Chockley of Browning; and his grandparents, Verle and Norma Chockley of Browning.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cletis and Bernice Palmer, and Irene Fabish Williams.

He worked for G.M. Sipes Construction Co. in Rushville. He was a member of Laborers Local 231 of Pekin.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with the Revs. Gary Schultz and Bill Couchenour officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in Browning Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Christopher Chockley Memorial Fund in care of Farmers State Bank, Astoria.
