Margaret L. Counselman, 84, of Adair died at 6 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2003, at her sister's home in Tennessee, Ill.
She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Astoria Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Jesse and Mae Wilson Haare. She married Harold Counselman on Nov. 14, 1942, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Jan. 15, 1983.
Surviving are one brother, Robert Haare of Rockford; and one sister, Nedra Beckner of Tennessee.
She worked in the food department at Western Illinois University for nine years.
She was a member of New Salem Christian Church in Adair.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Pastor Gary Schultz officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice.
