Shirley E. Collins, 54, of rural Astoria, died at 3:31 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 1999, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born May 1, 1945, in Macomb, a daughter of Robert McLaren and Dorothea Elizabeth Simpson Beck.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Gene (Sharon) Trinkle of Rushville, and six nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Sherrie Collins.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church in Vermont.
Services are today at 2 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home with Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
