Evelyn Cook

Evelyn M. Cook, 86, of Table Grove, died at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 1999, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 30, 1912, in Pleasant Township, Fulton County a daughter of Nathaniel and Della Mummert Warner. She married Kenneth Cook on March 2, 1935, in Elmwood. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hal (Jane) Weaver of Dixon; one grandson, Timothy Keller of Table Grove; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Charles (Susan) Manthei of Indianapolis.

One daughter, Joanne Keller; two brothers; and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was a life member of Ipava Presbyterian Church in Ipava. She served as organist for Point Pleasant United Methodist Church for 38 years. She also was a member of Point Pleasant Busy Bees and the Farmers Township Homemakers Extension Association. She was a charter and life member of McDonough District Hospital Auxiliary.

Services were held Tuesday at Ipava Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mary Jo Williams officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program or to Point Pleasant United Methodist Church.
