Sybil J. Cox, 85, of Vermont, died at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 1995, at the McDonough District Hospital.
She was born Jan. 18, 1910, in Galesburg, a daughter of Theodore and Lillian Oviatt Cox. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Robert (Doris) Wixom of Vermont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a 1932 graduate of Knox College. She was a member of the Vermont Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by four sisters. Cremation rites have been accorded by Kost Memorial Home in Vermont and graveside burial of ashes in the Vermont Cemetery will be announced.
