L. Ellen Campbell, 63, of Rushville, died at 12:20 a.m. Friday, May 26, 1995 at the Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Aug. 27, 1931 in Browning, a daughter of Ezra and Gertrude Breeden Walton. She married Harold V. Campbell Dec. 15, 1956 in Rushville. He survives in Princeville.
Also surviving are two sons, Steve Campbell and Jim Campbell, both of Rushville; one daughter, Becky Campbell of Rushville; one sister, Goldie Johnson of Beardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy McCombs and one brother, Albert Walton.
She was a nurses aide at the Snyder-Vaughn Haven Nursing Home in Rushville for many years before retiring in 1991 due to ill health.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. this afternoon at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. Collis Trone officiating. Burial will be in the Browning Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Schuyler Co. Rescue Squad or the American Diabetes Foundation.
