Mrs. Olive Cook Of Vermont Dies

Mrs. Olive Marie Cook, 86, of Vermont, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1985, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.

She was born Aug. 16, 1898, in Vermont, the daughter of Caleb and Elizabeth (Darling) Cox. She married Charles Cook Oct. 12, 1918, in Rushville. He died Aug. 6, 1978.

She was also preceded in death by one son, five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Elizabeth) Easley of Vermont; one son, Ronald Cook of Industry; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Miller of Vermont; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post 26.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kost Memorial Home, Vermont, with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
