Dwight Comingore Dies In Springfield

Dwight Comingore, 60, of Springfield, formerly of Bushnell who operated the Arrow Shoe Repair Shop for the last 13 years, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in Memorial Hospital in Springfield. In the shoe business for 49 years, Mr. Comingore was born in Cuba.

Surviving are his wife, Vona; three daughters, Miss Mary Ann and Miss Karen Comingore and Mrs. Janet Spaulding, all of Springfield; two grandchildren; four brothers, Elmer, Peoria, George H., Woodstock, Cecil, Canton, and Ross of Chicago; and one sister, Mrs. Opal Davies of Canton.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Stolleis Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. Edwin Weber officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Comingore was a nephew of Walt Weese of Summum, and a cousin of Edie Kinkead, Vera Chambers and Mabel Siler of Astoria.
