Glenn W. Curless of 216 N. High St., Havana, a veteran of World War I and a retired carpenter, reportedly dropped dead at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at the corner of Pearl and Market street while walking in the business district.
Born Sept. 7, 1894, in Schuyler County, a son of Hartford and Elsie (Parrish) Curless, he was married to Helen O’Grady on Sept. 25, 1957 in Beardstown.
Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ament of Havana, a son, Robert Curless of Chicago, and a sister, Miss Nina Curless of Bluff City.
Hurley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
