She was born Aug. 20, 1962, in Rushville, a daughter of Charles and Rilea JoAnne Stevens Daly. She married Nick Brasel on Sept. 27, 1984, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are her father; one son, Chris Brasel and companion Jessica Buster of Beardstown; three brothers, James Patrick Daly of Mt. Sterling, John Michael Daly of Camden and Joseph Kelly Daly of Edina, Mo.; and four sisters, Cathy Gina Knous and companion Chris Stoneking of Beardstown, Cara Lynn Kramer of Quincy, Christy Anne McColez and Patrick of Quincy and Connie Sue Shireman of Winchester.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
She ran her own landscaping business and was a member of Grace Bible Church of Beardstown.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor David Williams officiating. Burial was held in Camden Cemetery.
