She was born March 26, 1930, in Havana, a daughter of Clarence and Ruth Haack Eaton. She married Junior M. Brooks on Dec. 31, 1951, in Havana. He died April 7, 2008.
Surviving are one daughter, Gail (and Thomas) Berry of Lewistown; one son, Dale (and Deanna) Brooks of Canton; one sister, Doramae Norton; one brother, James Eaton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She worked at Farmers State Bank of Lewistown as an assistant cashier for many years. She was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church where she also was a member of Ruth’s Circle.
A graveside service was held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Burial followed the service. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
