Mark Batterton, 51, of DeGraff, Ohio, died Oct. 30, 2021, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1970, in Macomb, the son of Kenneth and Judy Johnson Batterton. He married Bobbie Jo Register. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents; two sons, Matthew S. (and Kylee) Register and Mathew E. Batterton; one sister, Teresa (and Doug) Smith; and four grandchildren, Kinzley Register, Juniper Batterton, Kyndalinn Register and Kennadi Register.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lindsey Ann Bryant; and grandparents, Cecil and Evelyn Batterton and Don and Doris Taflinger.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1215. He was currently employed at Shippers Automotive Group in Urbana.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Vernon Funeral Home in Urbana, Ohio. Military honors will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
