She was born June 17, 1955, in Springfield, a daughter of John William and Norma Jean Taylor Ealey. She married Terry Lee Baker on May 7, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2008.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Walker.
Surviving are one daughter, Valerie Baker (and Floyd Collins) of Sullivan; two sons, Shane (and Shelby) Baker and Terry Lee (and Heather) Baker II, all of Rushville; stepfather, Gordon Spradlin; and one nephew, Curtis (and Karen) Walker.
She graduated from Lamphier High School in Springfield and received an associates degree from Spoon River College. She was an administrative assistant for Snyder’s Nursing Home for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Matt Haberman officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
