Larry BakerLarry Dewayne Baker, 64, of Rushville died at 1:24 p.m. Sept. 7, 2017, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, due to injuries following an accident.

He was born April 10, 1953, in Rushville, a son of Lyle and Helen Virginia Orr Baker. He never married.

Surviving are three brothers, Allen (and Barbara) Baker of Camden, David E. (and Carol) Baker of Good Hope and Marvin L. (and Jean) Baker of Bowen; and two sisters, Karen Libby of Streator and Carol (and Marty) Trinkle of Rushville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1971. He worked at Davis IGA Grocery Store in Rushville and Astoria Fibra Steel in Astoria. He became disabled while working for the Burlington Northern Railroad.

Funeral services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Aaron Baker officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
