She was born Nov. 18, 1912, north of Rushville, a daughter of Samuel and Ethel Acheson Deane. She married Roy Glen Busby on Sept. 22, 1934, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1989.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Laura Bauer.
Surviving are two sons, Allen (and Mary Jane) Busby and Ronald (and Judy) Busby, both of Rushville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a life-long farm wife. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Schuyler Home Extension and was an active member of the Rushville State Bank Premier Club. She also was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.
Services were held Saturday at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Grant Armstrong officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
