Elizabeth M. Bubb, 93, of Springfield, formerly of Ipava, died at 4:11 p.m. Nov. 21, 2006, at Capitol Care Center in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 29, 1913, in Whiting, Ind., a daughter of Joseph and Mary Toth Bajusz. She married John W. Bubb on Aug. 22, 1930, in St. Joseph, Mich. He died Feb. 16, 1990.
She also was preceded in death by one son, John Jr.; three brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are one brother, William Barany of Whiting; one sister, Irene Bajusz of New Jersey; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was an owner and operator of Bubb Men's Wear in Ipava, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Ipava American Legion Post #17 Auxiliary and Katherine Class Quilters. She was of the Catholic faith.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
