Clara E. Baumgardner, 90, of Bushnell died at 9:44 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 5, 1912, in Falls County, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Emma Rothe Habel. She married Wallace L. Baumgardner on Sept. 16, 1944, in Robinson, Texas. He died March 4, 1970.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one granddaughter.
Surviving are one son, John (and Maria) of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Wanda (and Ron) Shannon of Bushnell; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was a former member of Vermont Methodist Church.
Services were held Sunday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Rev. Rose Brown officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
