Bessie W. Blue, 93, of Astoria died at 7:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.
She was born Oct. 9, 1906, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, the daughter of Oscar Allen and Alta Onion Blue.
Surviving is one nephew, Phillip (and Helen) Blue of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
She was a lifelong member of Summum Christian Church in Summum, where she played piano for several years.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 226 in Ipava.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Brian Culver and Gary Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Sixteen Cemetery near Summum.
