Clifford Belville

Clifford Belville, 90, of Astoria died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2000, at Astoria Healthcare Center.

He was born March 29, 1910, in Macomb, a son of George and Emma Allison Belville. He married Lela Stroops on March 15, 1938, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Herschel (and Sheila) of Lewistown and Harold (and Joyce) of Astoria; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, two sisters and several half brothers and half sisters.

He worked as a farm hand for area farmers and also was a coal miner.

He attended the Assembly of God Church.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Clifford Parry officiating. Burial was in Ridgeville Cemetery in Browning.
