Nancy E. Bair, 81, of Sunset Manor, formerly of Canton, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Graham Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1918, in Fulton County, Ky, a daughter of Harvey and Haley Lawson Lawson. She married William Fred Bair on Dec. 31, 1938, in Palmyra, Mo. He died March 29, 1981.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Robert Fred Bair; one daughter, Carolyn Bair; five brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Russell of Springfield, Ohio, and John of Columbia, Tenn.; two daughters, Nellie Keime of Smithfield and Mary Ann Clouse of Franklin, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Services were held Saturday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Robert Holler officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery in Vermont.
