Arthur G. Baker, 87, of Canton, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1996, at Graham Hospital.
He was born April 22, 1909, in Topeka, Kan., a son of James and E. Shaffer Baker. He married Beulah H. Hancock on Oct. 7, 1930, in Lewistown. She died Oct. 1, 1995. One brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Steck of Canton; one brother, John Baker of California; and one sister, Cora Salsbury of Canton.
He worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 1971.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to any charity.
Mr. Baker has several relatives in the Argus area.
