Velma M. Brockley, 80, of rural Astoria, died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 1992, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 26, 1912 in Crab Orchard, Neb., a daughter of Clifford C. and Effie McDonald Nokes. She married Kenneth Brockley on April 12, 1951, in Kalispell, Mont. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, William of Astoria; one brother, Charles Nokes of Stevensville, Mont.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of the Astoria Christian Church.
Funeral services were held today at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery, Vermont.
