Billie Burke Bader, 77, of Vermont, owner and president of Bader & Co. Elevators, died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 1990, at his home.
He was born Feb. 12, 1913, at Vermont, a son of William F. and Elizabeth Gardner Bader. He was married on Sept. 20, 1975, in Macomb, to Jane Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Bill Bader of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two adopted children, Maria Woodford of Industry and A. Chris Bader of Springfield; one sister, Lenore Richey and one niece, Jane Richey, both of Palm Desert, Calif.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday at his home with Ron Derrig-Green officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice.
Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
