MILDRED N. (HORNER) BRICKER

Mildred Bricker Dies At Age 92

Mrs. Mildred N. Bricker, 92, of 609 N. Harpham, Havana, died at 10:17 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 9, 1985, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born Mar. 9, 1893, near Astoria, a daughter of Martin and Mary Brinton Horner. She married Fred Bricker Dec. 25, 1915, in Ipava. He preceded her in death.

Two sons, two brothers, two sisters, and three grandchildren also preceded her in death.

Surviving are four sons, Harold and Forrest Bricker, both of Astoria, Eldon Bricker of Downs, and Ronald Bricker of Havana; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Rosalie Heffren, and Mrs. Nelda Hay, both of Havana, and Mrs. Delores Haynes of White Bear Lake, Minn.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Greta Butler and Mrs. Wilma Horner, both of Astoria; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Havana Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon at her church with Rev. Arthur McKinley officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.

Memorials may be made to her church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
