Mrs. Helen Bollinger, 79, of Morton, formerly of Astoria, died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 1985, at the Morton Healthcare Center in Morton.
She was born Feb. 8, 1905, in Astoria, a daughter of Joseph M. and Evaline Ely Peek. She married Glen W. Bollinger on Feb. 12, 1923, in Jacksonville. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Glen W. Bollinger of Seattle, Wash., and Jack D. Bollinger of East Peoria; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Gladys Bollinger of Canton.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters, and one brother.
She was a member of the Astoria Assembly of God Church in Astoria.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Arthur S. McKinnley officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
