Mrs. Edith Butler of Lewistown died at 5:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 1980, in Graham Hospital in Canton. She had been a resident of the Astoria Care Center for the past nine years.
She was born Dec. 21, 1888, in Lewistown, a daughter of George and Jennie (Keeney) Cozine. She married Ward C. Butler in Lewistown in 1908, and he preceded her in death in 1951.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Lee, both of Lewistown; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One son and three grandchildren preceded her in death.
Mrs. Butler was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church, and memorials may be made to the church.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Walter Pruett officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
