Mrs. Lula Bricker Dies In Hospital

Mrs. Lula Belle Bricker, 94, of Rushville, formerly of Astoria, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Sept. 14, 1885, at Astoria, the daughter of John and Lydia (Heaton) Aten. She was married to Charlie Scott Bricker on Dec. 20, 1911. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1958.

Survivors include one son, Charles E. Bricker of Rushville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Merlin Aten of Astoria.

Also preceded her in death were one son, two grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Shawgo’s from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
