Inez D. Beatty Dies In Missouri

Mrs. Inez Danner Beatty, 82, of 14E. Pocahontas, Kansas City, Mo., died Monday evening, Dec. 19, 1977.

Funeral services were held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Moriah Funeral Home with burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.

She was born March 10, 1895, in Astoria, the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Ann Hare Danner. She spent her early years in and near Astoria. She married Roy E. Beatty, Dec. 27, 1915 at Virginia, Ill. He died May 15, 1953. She had lived most of her life in Kansas City, Mo., and was a member of the Swope Park Baptist Church there.

Mrs. Beatty is survived by a son, Richard Beatty of Kansas City, Mo., three daughters, Mrs. Imogene Pace of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Bernice Huggins of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Ann C. Peterson of Prairie Village, Kans.; a sister, Mrs. Lefa Smith of Table Grove, Ill., a brother, Elden Danner of Dubuque, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Her parents, a half-brother, two brothers and a sister are deceased.

Attending the funeral services last Friday were Mrs. Carl (Lefa) Smith of Table Grove and her children, Mrs. Mary E. Roberts, Mrs. Carl McMillan and Henry Smith, all of Macomb.
