MARY ANN (HARE) DANNER

Mary Ann Danner

Mary Ann Hare was born in Baltimore County, Maryland, Nov. 9, 1866, and died at Farmington, Ill., March 5, 1903, aged 36 years, 3 mos., and 24 days.

She came with her parents to Astoria, Ill., when two years of age, where she lived until within six weeks of her death, when she moved to Farmington, Ill.

She was married to her now bereaved husband, Nathaniel H. Danner, Feb. 15, 1891. This union was blessed with six children, three boys and three girls.

The deceased was converted at the age of 18, and lived a Christian life until the end.

She joined the United Brethren Church at Astoria in March, 1890.

She was a loving wife and mother, and devoted to the interests of her home.

The Miner's Union at Farmington, of which Mr. Danner is a member, sent a committee with the family to Astoria, where funeral services were conducted by the pastor, D. E. Baer, last Saturday at 12:30, in the presence of a large congregation of sympathizing friends, including the members of the local Miner's Union who attended in a body.

After the service the remains were taken to Oak Grove cemetery for burial.

Before leaving Farmington a brief service was conducted at the home by the pastor of the M. E. Church of that place.
