Relatives and friends here have received word of the death of Ezra G. Bucher of 2418 N. 20th Ave., Phoenix, Ariz. 86004. Although in failing health for some time, Mr. Bucher suffered an apparent heart attack Friday evening. He was taken to the hospital where he died Sunday evening.
He was born in Astoria on Dec. 28, 1893, the youngest son of Cyrus and Leah Gibble Senger [Bucher]. On June 14, 1919 he was married to Irma Onion, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Rodney, Bradley and Brian Bucher; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Blickenstaff and Mrs. Lizzie Lam, both of Astoria.
Former Astoria residents, the Buchers moved to Arizona several years ago.
Funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. this morning in Moor’s Mortuary in Phoenix, Ariz.
