Lawrence Brillhart Dies Suddenly

IPAVA — The death of Lawrence Brillhart, of Ipava, who died Friday at noon while eating his lunch in the steel storage department of the International Harvester company, Canton, was declared due to a heart attack at an inquiry conducted Friday afternoon by Deputy Coroner, Inman Blackaby. He had been ill for several years.

He was born Dec. 10, 1909 in Pleasant township, a son of John and Lizzie Huff Brillhart. He was married to Florence Kopp of Ipava on March 9, 1935. He is survived by his wife, one brother, Donald Brillhart of Clayton, two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Jones and Mrs. Gaye Oaks both of Lewistown. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and the Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at the Ipava Presbyterian church at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. O. D. Slater officiated. The Masonic lodge conducted the services. Interment was in the Ipava cemetery.
