Jennie A. Jones, 93, of Heartland Health Care Center, Macomb, formerly of Lewistown, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born April 4, 1907, in Ipava, a daughter of John and Lizzie Huff Brillhart. She married Dale H. Jones on Oct. 14, 1924, in Havana. He died Nov. 5, 1980.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Col. Robert Jones on Sept. 23, 1973, and Col. Gordon D. Jones on Aug. 15, 1995; two brothers; and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Charlotte (and Raymond) Fayhee of Bushnell; two grandsons; three granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Lewistown Tourist Club and Fulton County Home Extension.
She was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, where services were held Friday with Rev. Jon Sims officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
