Former Bluff City Resident Ends His Life

James (Chuck) Briney of Beardstown, committed suicide at his home in that city last night by turning on the gas, while his wife was attending a picture show. On her return she found him. Life was extinct.

He was fifty years of age, a former resident of Bluff City, and was employed by Schultz, Baujaun & Co. of that city.

No further particulars was received. He leaves his wife and two daughters, and two brothers, Edward and Roy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Kline Funeral Home in Beardstown.
