W. M. Barnes Dies

Passed Away at His Home in This City Tuesday Evening, Aged 66 Years, Funeral Held Today.

W. M. Barnes, for many years post master of Summum, died at his home in this city at about six o’clock Tuesday evening after an illness of about ten months duration.

The deceased was born in Woodland township. At the time of his death, he was aged 66 years, 10 months and 20 days. Besides his aged wife, he leaves to mourn his death, two brothers, Charles of Summum and Henry of Tennessee, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Emma Adams of Vermont.

Mr. Barnes was well known throughout South Fulton and his many friends will regret to learn of his death, which was due to a complication of diseases.

Funeral services will be held today, at the home conducted by Rev. J. B. Miller, pastor of the M. E. church. Interment in the Astoria cemetery.
