He was born Oct. 3, 1961, in Canton, a son of Les and Alice Althiser. He married Tina Althiser on Jan. 25, 1980. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2021.
He also was preceded in death by his mother Alice; one sister, Shelley; one paternal grandparent, Elizabeth Smith; and one maternal grandparent.
Surviving are two daughters, Brittney Althiser and Brooke Meyer (Kevin Doubet); one son, Brenten Althiser; his father, Les (and Sue) Althiser; one sister, Tina (and Mark) Kessler; two stepsiblings, Laura (and Rod) Franciskovich and Jim (and Karen) Hickman; Anna Evitts (someone special); and six grandchildren.
He worked hard all his adult life to provide for his family.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Burial was held in the Ipava Cemetery.
Memorials in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Jeff Althiser Memorial Fund. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
