She was born Aug. 3, 1961, in Rushville, the daughter of Marjorie Phillips and raised by her grandfather, Walter Phillips. On Jan. 25, 1980, she married Jeffrey Althiser. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Brittney Althiser and Brooke Meyer; one son, Brenten Althiser; one brother, Larry Phillips; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Phillips; and grandfather, Walter Phillips.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Steve Castaneda officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. before the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Ipava cemetery.
