Zelda M. Anderson, 92, of Macomb, formerly of Astoria, died at 1:42 a.m. March 13, 2007, at The Elms in Macomb.
She was born April 7, 1914, in Ray, a daughter of John W. and Dora L. Miller Jones. She married William George Anderson. He died Sept. 2, 1948.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, an infant, Minnie Phillips and Vernie Heitz; and one brother, John Jones.
Surviving are one son, Charles (and LaVern) Anderson of Macomb; one sister, Bertha Harris of West Frankfort; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and had been a telephone operator for 10 years in Astoria.
Graveside services were held Friday at Astoria Cemetery with Bob Anderson officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
