Irma E. Ambrosius, 92, of Joplin, Mo., formerly of Astoria, died at 3:50 a.m. Nov. 29, 2006, at Joplin Healthcare Center.
She was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Astoria, the daughter of Don J. and Beulah R. Drummond Roosa. She married Donald Ambrosius on Oct. 10, 1934, in Astoria. He died May 6, 1964.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, James Roosa.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald L. (and Gloria) of Joplin and Norman R. of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Ruby J. Ambrosius of Joplin; one brother, Howard Roosa of Astoria; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Joplin.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
