Eunice A’Hearn

Eunice E. A’Hearn, 75, of Canton, died at 6:18 a.m. Friday, July 19, 1996, at her home.

She was born Feb. 13, 1921, in Fulton County, a daughter of David and Anna M. Spargo Baker. She married C.V. Goudy. She later married Wayne A’Hearn on May 13, 1968, in Rock Island. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Roger Goudy of Shawnee, Kan.; one daughter, Dixie Lee Adams of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; one stepson, Jesse Wayne “Jim” A’Hearn of Galesburg; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ted (Shirley Evelyn) Nehrbass of Sparta, Mo.; two sisters, Chloris Goudy and Wanda Lee Baker, both of Lewistown; and 13 grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

She was of the Christian faith. She worked at J.C. Penney Co. for 10 years.

Funeral services were held Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton with Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Avon Cemetery in Avon.

Shirley Nehrbass and Jesse A’Hearn are a niece and nephew of Loretta Fisk of Astoria.
