Pauline U. Avery, 71, of 312 E. Ninth, Beardstown, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 1980, in Beardstown Hospital.
Born Oct. 25, 1908, in Virginia, she was a daughter of Walter and Lula McGoldrich Lowden.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Nedra) Dixon of Astoria, Mrs. Howard (Betty) Icenogle and Mrs. Linda Palmer, both of Beardstown; three sons, Robert of Browning, Gale of Mountain View, Calif., and Larry of Beardstown; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one aunt. One sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and Women of the Moose.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Northcutt Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Hagen officiating. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
