Lewistown High School Senior Dies In Peoria

Miss Paula Maxine Yocum, 16, a Lewistown high school senior, died in St. Francis hospital, Peoria, at 11:45 a.m. Thursday following an illness of five and a half months, the last four weeks of which were spent in the hospital.

Born and reared in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Arthur and Pauline (Brillhart) Yocum. She is survived by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Gerald and Keith and a sister, Carol Sue, all of Lewistown. She was a granddaughter of the late Lewis and Effie Brillhart.

She was a member of the Lewistown Free Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon in the Lewistown Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Tony Jaynes and Rev. Thos. Parkinson. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
