She was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Fulton County, the daughter of Kenneth Duane and Ethel Schoonover Brush. She married Robert Lowell Walker on May 1, 2001. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2011.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Brian Brush; two daughters, Carla Cowden and Ica Lung; and by a special stepfather, John Anderson.
Surviving are three sons, Kevin (Wanda Lickey) Brush of Camden, Mark (June Morrow) Cowden of Rushville and Bobby (Sarah) Lung of Camp Point; two daughters, Jolene Cowden of Canton and Kimberly Cowden of Carthage; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She gave 29 years of dedicated service to Fulton County Rehabilitation Center in Canton, where she worked in many different capacities. She was a member of the Rushville Saddle Club for several years.
Memorial services were conducted Saturday at the Triplett and Wood Funeral Home of Rushville.
