He was born Sept. 1, 1940, in Fulton County, a son of James and Dorothy Myers Wallick. He married Bonnie Slater on Feb. 12, 1961, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Kevin Wallick of Delaware and Kathleen (and Rob) Paquin of Oshkosh, Wis.; two brothers, William (and Beverly) Wallick and Dale (and Bonnie) Wallick; one sister, Jean Peters; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Wallick; two half brothers, George Emery and Bob Emery; and four sisters, Ann Simmons, Wanda Parker, Kay Davidson and Connie Wallick.
He was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church in Yates City.
A funeral service was held Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. Burial was in Yates City Cemetery.
