She was born Sept. 15, 1955, in Canton, a daughter of James and Thelma Nelms Smith. She married Marty Williams on May 5, 1986, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jessica (and Jeremy) Rhodes of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Gary Gibbs II and Lisa Browers, both of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Sharon Dieckow, Betty Gillham and Donna Canterbury; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Smith; and three sisters, Shirley Zigler, Carol Cantrall and Pam Howard.
She worked as an assistant manager at Casey’s in Macomb.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a Celebration of Life on Nov. 13; place to be announced. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
