Ollabelle “Ollie” Weese, 99, of Lewistown died at 5:25 a.m. June 18, 2021, at the Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba, where she had been a resident.Ollabelle “Ollie” Weese, 99, of Lewistown died at 5:25 a.m. June 18, 2021, at the Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba, where she had been a resident.
She was born April 23, 1922, in Lewistown, a daughter of Joseph and Rachel Hedden Brush. She married Marshall Weese on Oct. 5, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He died June 3, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, one granddaughter (Lisa) and five great-great-grandchildren.
Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Samuell of Cuba; one son, Roger (and Pat) Weese of Lewistown; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and six great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Crossroads Free Methodist Church of Lewistown, and was a member of Women’s Missionary International.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Sue Roat-Hall officiating. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
