Howard WoodleyHoward DuWayne Franklin “Red Nose” Woodley, 85, of Havana died at 1:55 p.m. Aug. 14, 2020, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Havana, the son of Harold E. and Mildred Woodard Woodley.

Surviving are three daughters, Melanie (and Randy) Lindsey of Havana, Sanda Collins of Springfield and Tammy Adams; one sister, Margo Collins of Springfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Woodley.

He worked as a Brick Mason and was a member of the Brick Mason’s Union.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton. Private family graveside and inurnment will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Havana Park District for the development of a Community Garden.
