She was born July 21, 1937, in Brown County, the daughter of Osborn Lee and Wilma May Daab Hatch. She married Lloyd Waters on Nov. 17, 1955, in Timewell. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Lee Waters; and two brothers, Norlyn and Lyle Hatch.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa (and Dave) Davis of Astoria and Beth (and Jim) Waters-Earhart of Hallsville, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She attended Brown County schools and later attended John Wood Community College where she received her licensed practical nursing degree.
She was a licensed practical nurse for Heritage Manor Nursing Home South in Beardstown for several years and also assisted her husband with the operation of the family farm.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Mounds Cemetery near Timewell with Pastor Greg Hill officiating. There will be no visitation. The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling is in charge of arrangements.
