DALE E. WESTPHALL

VeteranDale Westphall

Dale E. Westphall, 93, of Seminole, Fla., and also of Lewistown, died April 19, 2015, at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Fla.

He was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Hebron, a son of Albert Ross and Maude Marie Stutes Westphall. He married Ila J. Stockman on Oct. 23, 1948, in Lewistown. She died July 4, 1992.

He also was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Surviving are two nephews, Larry Maxson of Seminole, Fla., and Donald Gene Westphall of Locust Grove, Ga.; one niece, Kathy Sue McKlesky of Georgia; and one special companion, Kit Fithian of Lewistown.

He worked in the furniture business both wholesale and retail.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.

He had attended Lewistown United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.

A graveside service was held Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Military services were conducted by the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
