Clyde W. “Bill” Whitman, 63, of Lewistown died at 9:57 a.m. Sept. 15, 2014, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born May 10, 1951, in Canton, a son of Harold and Marilie Guilliams Whitman. He married Judy Barnes on June 9, 2007, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents; two daughters, Becky (and Aaron) Mikulich of Lewistown and Gretchen Williams of Peoria; three sons, Charles (and Rhonda) Whitman of Pekin, Jon (and Ami) Whitman of Peoria and Corey Whitman of Lewistown; two stepchildren, Mike (and Tanya) Myers and Michelle (and Mike) Walker, both of Canton; three brothers, Larry (and Tyrrell) Whitman and Gary (and Sandy) Whitman, both of Lewistown, and Randy (and Carla) Whitman of Peoria; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild; and one nephew.
He had worked at the former International Harvester plant in Canton, and was a retired union bricklayer.
He was a member of Brick Layers and Allied Craftsman Local 6 in Peoria.
Services were held Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Randy Whitman officiating. Cremation was accorded following the services and inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown at a later date.
