She was born April 30, 1945, in Beardstown, a daughter of Irvin John and Mabel D. Lawson Stinson. She married Paul K. Winkelman on March 29, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2007.
Surviving are her children, Melinda (and Eric) Smart of Browning and Ronald Winkelman of Mount Sterling; one sister, Dorothy M. Winkelman of Concord; and one grandson, Brett Smart of Browning.
She attended Arenzville High School. She had previously worked in the dietary department of Copley Hospital in Aurora, and later at Hardee’s in Beardstown.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arenzville. She was a den mother for Cub Scouts.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at her church in Arenzville. Burial will be in Arenzville North Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
